Sarah Dumont grew up with a love for art including painting, pottery, and photography. She attended Northeastern University in 2006. Soon after she transferred to Hallmark Institute of Photography to more seriously pursue a photographic career. It was there that she realized her passion for photography. Dumont started her portrait business after graduating Hallmark as the class of 2007.

Dumont's work has been on exhibit at the Flynt Museum in Old Deerfield, MA and at the Hallmark Museum of Contemporary Photography where it has been entered into their permanent collection. Her work was also sold to benefit Doctors Without Borders in June of 2007.

Sarah is currently a member of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, a non profit organization whose goal is to help families heal from the loss of their baby by providing them with free professional portraiture. Sarah states, “I feel completely honored and proud to be accepted into NILMDTS. Helping people is very important to me, and the fact that I have a camera and I am part of an amazing organization who helps families heal means the world to me.”
